We prepaid a car at LAX's Budget car rental. 45 people in line at noon!

Was in line for an hour. Grumpy agent took 20 minutes to tell me we had a Chevy Cruze. We asked for any other intermediate car that was more comfortable. He offered a Camry.

It took another 20 minutes to tell us the price was $258.00 more! We declined. We refused to pay that amount. He then told us the Cruze was taken already so that we would have to wait for another intermediate car to come in!

We didn't want to wait so we agreed to take the Camry for a negotiated $158.00. It took another 30 minutes to get into the car.

We called Budget Customer Service and they said they would use our complaint for training purposes only! That was their solution.

Do not rent a car from Budget!

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $158.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
