Confirmation of future rental

Has not come to fruition... I never got a Email confirmation, until I got with customer service about 1 month later...thankfully it was painless, got positive results immediately & was able to print out my itinerary.. I still have not taken this trip. So I don't know the outcome.. but feel good about it.

Hello, I am not a pissed customer, however Im trying trying to rent a car at Pittsburgh International Airport on 10/22/22 -10/30/22, and rates are so high, unlike Ive ever seen for that time. Was just wanting to know if prices will come down closer to my arrival date, or not? Even with online deals offered at 35% off they still are insanely high. Thank you for your help, Maria Zhang

He recibido el día de hoy 30 de Septiembre del 2022 una carta con fecha del 31/08/22 en la que me notifican que he sido multada durante mi viaje por infracción. Creo ya realice el pago que me ha sido descontado de mi cuenta de cheques En mi estado de cuenta del mes de Agosto y Septiembre encontré cargos de Avis y no sabia que estaba sucediendo por lo tanto dichos cargos han sido cuestionados a mi Banco.

This company is understaffed, under equipped and under trained. I was never quoted a change fee of 300 dollars on a weekly rental then charged 378 dollars more that the original quote.

no explanation of why a 300 dollar change fee resulted in a 378 dollar change in the quoted price. When I asked for a supervisor I was hung up on by a computer that said no staff is available now. At 6;45 pm on a Wednesday night.

Return extended rental car less than 2 weeks early

My 2 sisters were in a head-on collision and were hospitalized in Lynchburg General on 8/24. My one sister was discharged on 9/5 and returned home to Utah.

My other sister needs to go to acute care for PT, so it will be about 2+ weeks more in VA. So, I didnt need to have another van since there is only the 2 of us now.

I would like to know what happened to the damaged van MVA9962**** that is now in Newport News.

It should not be repaired since it should be examined for defective parts like cruise control, steering, etc. There may be a lawsuit associated with this accident and van may be evidence.

Please let me know what is happening and what is going on with the original van.

Preferred solution: Knowledge that the damaged van will be examined for defects in the cruise control, steering, etc. We believe there will be a lawsuit over this.

Some information about the money is taken from my account

Hi, upon my rental agreement number: 97118**** , there is written estimated amount 318.5 and payment in contract is 426.71. But the amount is taken from my account yet is 451.52 on 9/26/2022 by CarJet and 426.77 By Avis on 10/05/2022. I think there is something wrong . While we had full Insurance Coverage including Theft, last Sunday they charged us for missing Hub Cap Tire Covers for all four of them for around 450.00 USD even if we showed them their own contract that theft was covered. I am going to file a coplaint with Budget in USA but decided to put it here to protcet unwary travelers. DONT RENT FROM BUDGET AS THEY ARE CROOKS

This company is lawless

On a business trip; First time in Arkansaw; Rented a Budget Car. Budget is in the business of car rental in Arkansaw.

They know catalytic converter theft is rampant in Arkansaw. They don't alert you. They simply rent. Then when your ready to go to work from your Hotel, you can't.

You notify them of booming car noise and safety factor driving to work. THEN, they tell you, Oh, it's sounds like it's the catalytic converter. It may have been stolen. Now you're scramming to figure out how to get to your work location and deal with making calls, being available for tow driver, uber ride back to airport budget counter, getting a replacement car.

What a mess! Next, you get a letter from Nora Henry telling you she's charging your credit card on file to cover converter theft. She offers no apology for your inconvenience, but says btw your responsible for the tow too. I call the General 800# for budget stated on the letter.

Customer Service says "Yep, I get a lot of those". Apparently, Nora Henry sends many letters to customers with the same issue. Budget does not notify customers at time of rental of this ongoing problem, and they offer no security provisions or add'l insurance to cover this type of incident should it occur. They just figure you can poke out a grand or so with no problem in a tough economy and they have your card on file to just stick it to you.

Talk about insult to injury. Budget could this be their business motto?

Preferred solution: I would like not to be charged for a theft I had no knowledge about and could not prevent, and for the towing of disabled car. Theft occurred while car was parked in hotel lot. I would like a letter from Budget apologizing and dismissing all charges.

User's recommendation: RENTERS CAVEAT - CAREFUL WHEN RENTING FROM BUDGET.

Felt intimidated/harassed by Budget employee.

Re.: Booking through COSTCO Travel: #C40338****. Budget confirmation number: 1203****US6.

Pick-up: July 07, 2022 -1:00 pm; Drop-off: July 11, 2022 -12:00 PM. Miami International Airport office.

I have rented from Budget for many years. I have always presented (at the check-in counter) evidence of my insurance coverage. Never had a problem.

In relation with the rental of reference, I had with me a "Certificate of Liability Insurance" issued by Universal Insurance Co., an outstanding insurance carrier based in the US Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. BI per person & PD per accident: $100k; BI per accident: $300k.

The employee at the counter would not accept the Certificate. He emphatically tried to force into getting Budget's insurance. He even handed me an internal memo that supposedly stated that insurance issued by a company outside US would not be accepted.

Well, in the first place, PR is part of USA. Secondly, the test had no relation with this issue. He apparently thought that I would not understand written legal-like English (I have a masters degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois; most probably he does not have even a bachelors.). When I was about to leave the counter and move to another rental company he said that he was going to check with his supervisor.

Then and only then was my Certificate accepted.

By the way, the assigned car was so dirty that I had to request another unit.

Scammers

I was charged a fee for being a 1/2 hour late in my return. It was dismissed when I informed them that BUDGET was +1 hour late in issuing me a clean car. 3 MONTHS LATER, YES!, 3 MONTHS LATER I got a letter (today) informing me of a $125 cleaning fee, that was dismissed even quicker. Next maybe they will try to get me for any gas price increase they lost out on.

Went through 3 cars before they found one that was drivable AND.....once on the interstate the car they gave me shook like crazy when it got to 65mph+! When I got home 3 days later, i went to get something from the car and had a flat tire. Customer service is a joke, so had my brother change the tire so I could take it back in the morning. He was pissed when he saw the tire he had just removed! There were worn out patches all over that tire. he said I was lucky it didn't blow when I was driving it! The guy at the counter gave me some bs about will have to run it by corporate to get some of my money back. NO, I will get ahold of corporate! WORST car rental EVER!AVAVOID
